THE CHALLENGE

Design a T-Shirt for Illinois State University’s History Department that will gain student’s attention to the department.

CONCEPT

The style of illustration utilized in this design references the 1920s Art Deco style; a movement that blended the lines of modernism and antiquity. The representational imagery included in the design is an open book and a globe, which represent our endless journey of learning and the worldliness gained through studying history.
